IT and Communications
The people who make up SEIM have always understood information technologies as a field full of opportunities for those who aspire to build a profession with a future, and, above all, with a present.
The history of SEIM is the history of the evolution of IT, and we want to share our experience with you, helping you to discover the possibilities that the digital universe can offer.
Our training offer is structured around two fundamental pathways in which to develop a professional career within the IT and Communications field.
As a systems administrator, you will be responsible for safeguarding the security of installations, while at the same time ensuring their optimal performance. Your responsibilities will include the implementation and administration of websites, database management, and maintaining the integrity of information as well as its protection against potential incidents.
As a developer, you will take part in the different stages an application goes through, from its conception to its deployment. You will program different types of software, including multimedia applications, mobile applications, and management software for servers or desktop computers.
In this module, we compare the knowledge acquired at the centre with the competencies demanded by industry. This is a fundamental phase in which we aim to provide positive experiences for both students and companies. To achieve this, we design the placements to balance the needs of students and employers.
Dual Vocational Training programmes in the Vocational Training education system combine teaching and learning processes in the company and at the vocational training centre, in accordance with the provisions of the education system.
The Erasmus Agency has awarded us the ERASMUS CHARTER for the period 2021–2027. This allows our students and teaching staff to study, undertake placements or receive training abroad, as well as to host teachers and students from other countries at our centre.
In a hyperconnected world, protecting the security of individuals and organisations has become essential. In response to the constant rise of cyber threats, CENTRO SEIM presents the fifth edition of this programme, designed to make you a key player in data protection and the prevention of cybercrime.
Dual Training
Once the first year has been completed, we offer students the possibility of combining training at the Centre with paid work placements in companies. We select companies that are committed to innovation and that value the commitment and talent of their people. This is an attractive option for both students and companies, and an excellent pathway to employment.
General DUAL / Erasmus
Our students carry out their work placements in technological areas that best match their personal characteristics and professional objectives, supported by a wide network of partner companies. They also have the opportunity to undertake placements abroad, as we hold the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education.
Certifications
We are an authorised Certification Centre for leading Hardware and Software manufacturers covering the main areas of IT. Upon completing their studies, our students can obtain an Official Qualification complemented by certifications and accreditations from Software manufacturers, accumulated throughout their training.
