WORK PLACEMENTS ABROAD

We offer the possibility of completing the Workplace Training Module in a company located in a European Union country. The Erasmus Agency has awarded us the ERASMUS CHARTER for the period 2021–2027. This allows our students and teaching staff to study, undertake placements or receive training abroad, as well as to host teachers and students from other countries at our centre.
INTERNATIONALISATION

At SEIM, we have always been aware of the importance of the internationalisation of Higher Education as a process that fosters cooperation and integration between Higher Education Institutions from different parts of the world, with the aim of achieving greater international presence and visibility in an increasingly globalised world. We consider it essential that our students’ learning and our staff’s professional development benefit from participation in international projects. Both will be enriched through knowledge acquisition and work experience, as well as by establishing closer relationships with professionals and companies from other countries.
As early as 1992, we began our collaboration at an international level. Our Vocational Training students, since the Workplace Training Module did not exist at the time, were offered the option of completing a third year at SEIM called Programmer Analyst, certified and accredited by the University of Cambridge, with the aim of enabling them to enter the labour market with higher qualifications. In 2014, we were authorised as a Microsoft and Linux Certification Centre, allowing us to deliver official training in Microsoft and Linux technologies, improving students’ qualifications and recognition, and providing updated educational resources for our teaching staff. Likewise, in the same year we were authorised to deliver Official Oracle training, despite not being a certification centre.
